Originality

All submissions must be original work by the creator, or republished with explicit permission from the original author. Please do not submit previously published pieces unless you hold the rights to do so.

What We Look For

We welcome work that thoughtfully blends science, culture, and storytelling.
We’re especially drawn to:

• Writing that is lyrical, reflective, visually rich, and grounded in clear meaning
  (i.e., avoids overly abstract metaphor such as “this barren tree represents man’s loneliness”)

• Poetry, essays, narrative nonfiction, creative nonfiction

• Video, photography, music illustration, and other visual art

Current Theme: Tides of Memory

We are currently seeking submissions for our upcoming issue, Tides of Memory.
This issue centers on stories shaped by the sea—think:

• Marine organisms

• Tides and coastal communities

• Ocean-related histories and narratives

• Deep-sea life and imaginative interpretations of the ocean’s hidden worlds

Pieces do not need to be strictly scientific, but they should connect meaningfully to oceanic themes.

General & Rolling Submissions

Because our publication is new, we are also accepting work outside of the current theme on a rolling basis. If you have a piece that fits our broader mission—merging science, art, and culture—we’d love to consider it.

How to Submit

Please email us your submission or a brief proposal outlining:

• The nature of your piece (genre, medium)

• A short description or artist statement

• Any relevant links, files, or samples

• Whether the work has been previously published

If your submission is a visual or multimedia format, please include preferred viewing instructions (resolution, format, or platform link). We will confirm receipt and follow up with next steps.
